I’m Barbara Burch Goutelon, a versatile copywriter with the chops to handle almost any project. For almost 20 years, I’ve helped companies of all sizes capture the attention of customers and keep them coming back for more.

My career has taken me from the corporate world to advertising agencies, and finally, to my own business. After studying journalism at the University of Texas, I took a quick left turn into technical writing. That's where I learned how to write about complicated software in simple terms, how to gain the confidence of engineers, and how to meet the needs of the target audience.

From there, it was a short move into technical marketing, where I developed a passion for bringing technology to life and writing powerful content for both traditional and online media.

Most recently, I’ve enjoyed working in the Austin advertising community. I get a kick out of collaborating with art directors and designers, who know how to make my copy sing. And I love the challenge of creating the most effective messages for websites, brochures, datasheets, banner ads, white papers and more.
